Should You Do A Police Exam Prep Course?

The written exam is the first challenge you’ll face in your police application

If you’ve decided that this is the year that you’re going to apply to join Victoria Police, then one of the first challenges you’ll face is to sit the written entrance exam.

Even if you feel quite confident about passing the exam, I couldn’t stress strongly enough that you do an exam preparatory course. So hopefully you’ll seriously consider looking into doing a course so that you get the possible preparation you can, even if you feel confident about passing that test.

Get the best score you possibly can

Now passing it is a given, you have to pass it to continue your Victoria Police Application, but you want to get the best score you possibly can. What you might not know is that the first written exam has a strong weighting to your final overall score as an applicant.

Victoria Police will choose those applicants with the highest overall scores to offer a position for recruit training, so passing everything along the way is no guarantee that you’ll get in. Those people who have the highest scores have the best chance of getting in. So given that a good chunk of your end score will come from the effort that you put in or the results that you get from that first entrance exam, I think you’d be nuts not to have a look at getting some help and getting the best possible preparation in order to get the best score you can.

For those of you who have completed the exam…

Okay guys, for everybody else who’s passed the entrance exam component, I guess, for the moment, it’s just more of the same from last year. Waiting and waiting and waiting for that application to progress to the next stage. But hang in there, it will pay off in the end and you’ll be rewarded for your patience.

Okay, guys have a great weekend and I look forward to seeing you next Sunday at our first training session. Bye for now.
