To improve the score you can achieve when doing the Victoria Police Grip Strength Test, which forms part of the police applicant fitness test, you will first need to ensure you’re using the correct technique. Once you are achieving this the next step is obviously to increase your grip strength.
We can do this via the RIGHT type of resistance training exercises. Strength is very different to muscular endurance or stamina and the correct structure is critical. In this video, I’ll address a common fault of police applicants trying to improve their strength. It’s an innocent mistake made by lots of police applicants, but luckily, it can be easily fixed.
