Climb for Cops Blue Ribbon Foundation Fundraising Event

The Blue Ribbon Foundation

Since 2012, the Blue Ribbon Foundation has been our cause of choice. Having spent 12+ years as a police officer I’m very aware of the fact that well over 150 officers have lost their lives serving our community.

In order to honour the memories of our fallen officers, the Blue Ribbon Foundation does some great work in the community. Millions of dollars have been invested in community projects, particularly around hospitals and in the area of health care. The Foundation is also involved in community sports and sponsors a number of programs, especially around junior sports. Scholarships, awards and other charity work is all part and parcel of the great work and grassroots community support The Foundation provides.

Over the years we’ve been running an annual event to help raise money for the Blue Ribbon Foundation. Our annual “Climb for Cops” event is open to all of our members, as well as anyone wanting to join Victoria Police, their friends and family and anybody wanting to help raise a few dollars for this fantastic organisation.

“Climb for Cops” is a vigorous hill climb that begins at the base of Mount Dandenong and finishes at one of Melbourne’s best vantage points of the city.

Feel free to contact us if you’re interested in joining us for this years’ climb in September!

Donations to the Blue Ribbon Foundation are tax-deductible and you can learn more about The Blue Ribbon Foundation here.
