It’s perfectly normal to be a little anxious about the recruitment test! Maybe you haven’t studied for a long time? For some, it may have been more than a decade! Maybe you’re not much chop when it comes to maths or essay writing.
I completely understand, but, don’t worry, I’m going to walk you through every aspect of the South Australia Police Recruitment Test so you know what to expect and how to tackle each section of the exam to make sure you achieve the best score you can at this challenging stage of the recruitment process.
It would be a mistake to simply do a heap of practice exams and think you’re prepared! You need a carefully structured program to ensure you can not just pass, but, get the best possible score.
In this online course we’re going to set out your personalised study plan. I’ll teach you our very successful exam taking strategy so you have a deliberate game plan for exam day. It’s your preparation and specific game plan that will help you deal with the nerves of the real exam. If you don’t prepare properly, the nerves will destroy your ability to remain composed and think clearly.
In this course, every section of the exam is addressed with comprehensive video tutorial lessons to cover every exam question type. You’ll have access to unlimited practice exams for every component of the exam.
Our practice exams match the question type, the number of questions, pass marks, and the time limits of the official exam to ensure your practice is as realistic as possible.
The questions are randomly selected from our database so you’ll get plenty of variety. Each practice exam produces a report with the questions you were asked, your answers, your score, as well as detailed explanations about the correct answers for each question.
We’re constantly tracking your progress. Our system creates, and automatically updates, your priority list so that at any given time you’ll know which topics need the most attention. This is how we can help keep you focused on the right things, at the right time, to get you to the pass marks and beyond.
You’ll have unlimited access to the course so you can work at your own pace, in your own time, anywhere you have internet access.
Let’s explore the course in more detail.
We’re going to set out your personalised study plan. I’ll teach you our very successful exam taking strategy so you have a deliberate game plan for exam day.
In this course, every section of the SAPOL Recruitment Test is addressed with comprehensive video tutorial lessons to cover every test question type. You’ll have access to unlimited practice exams for all of the components of the Test.
To get you off to the right start we’ll first take you through the official exam in detail so that you understand exactly what it is that you’re in for.
Then, we’ll discuss our process for setting out a personalised study plan to make sure you’re getting the most benefit from the time and effort you put in.
I’ll teach you our very deliberate exam taking strategy and show you our step by step system for getting the highest possible score. You’ll learn how to manage the time effectively, identify your danger questions, and discover our secret ninja technique that helps you answer every question before you run out of time!
We also discuss how to manage the range of emotions that come with preparing for such an important and significant test.
It’s important to be careful and methodical if you’re going to do this properly. Once you’re clear about what’s involved in the entrance exam, it’s time to create your priority list using a very deliberate process.
Let’s outline the steps we recommend taking.
Step 1: You’ll take a full practice exam, which includes each component. The number of questions, the type of questions, and the time limits will all match the offical exam.
We do this to help us find your starting point. Just like a doctor can’t prescribe treatment without first giving you the ‘once over’, we don’t want you to just make things up as you go along. We do a full practice exam first to help us assess your strengths and weaknesses, only then can we prescribe the best personalised treatment, or in this case, your preparation plan!
Our system will automatically create your priority list. It’s a list based on the results of your first full test. The weakest topics are identified and placed at the top of the list which is always visible in the practice exams section. As you work your way through the practice exams over time, the priority list constantly updates to reflect the most current topics that need your focus.
Step 2: Now that we’ve found your starting point you can enrol in the courses that will help you in the areas that need the most work. There are individual courses to address every aspect of the exam, whether it’s numerical calculations, deductive reasoning or inductive reasoning you struggle with the most, the video tutorial lessons in each specific course will teach you how to answer the questions, help you take your skills to the next level, and help you build your scores and confidence!
Step 3: Rinse and Repeat! Fine tuning your performance to build your confidence and help you get the best score you can. Not mention that to finish your application with a great final applicant score, we need to get off to a good start with a great exam score!
In this course we teach you how to identify key points with in a body of text, how to ‘pin’ these key points and show you how to recognise key points that are highly likely to appear in the comprehension based questions in your recruitment test. You’ll have access to plenty of practice tests with the same formatting as your official test.
In this course will share some tips and techniques to help you with both sections of the computer competency section of your recruitment test.
We’ll demonstrate the different types of questions that test your spelling, grammar and other English skills in the English corrections section of your recruitment test. You’ll have access to plenty of practice tests with the same formatting as your official test.
In this course Russ will teach you his step by step template for creating factual writing reports so you know exactly what to do in the official test.
What you’ll learn in this course would be next to impossible to find anywhere else. Russ draws on his 14 years of policing experience, and time as a police academy instructor, to share this very unique process with you. You won’t find a course like this in any general tutoring class!
We’ve heard it a thousand times, “I’m hopeless at maths!”
Don’t stress, this is the most comprehensive course within our exam preparatory training. We’re going to teach you the formulas you need to answer every question type in the official exam, and I’ll explain them in plain English!
Learn about spelling rules and techniques in this course and take heaps of audible practice tests in our system. We’ve created practice tests and other resources to help you get your spelling skills in top shape for your assessment.
I’ll take you through my process for identifying key points from the sample content and show you how to build out a great written response, even if you think you’re not a good writer!
We run live webinar training for our members for additional entrance exam preparation and strategy fine tuning.
Russell is passionate about helping people to achieve their dream of becoming a police officer. He was a police officer for 14 years and spent 4 years as an instructor at the Victoria Police Academy where he was involved in applicant testing, training new recruits and delivering refresher and advanced courses to experienced police officers in subjects ranging in everything from fitness to firearms.
Since 2006 Russell has been helping police applicants to achieve their dream and would be an asset to anyone taking their police application preparation seriously.
If you’re truly serious about a career in policing, taking this program could be the best thing you do to help you achieve your dream of becoming a police officer.
Russ! I was looking back on my journey and realised I could not have done any of it without your help. I graduated on Friday, along side 5 others that were all involved in your program! Your program is one of a kind. Thank you for all of your support.

With Russell and Prime Motion, you can’t fail! There is detailed instructions and training for every step of the journey. I can’t thank him enough for all the support. If you want to be a police officer, you NEED Prime Motion Training.

Investing time, effort, and a few hundred dollars might be necessary if you’re really serious about becoming a police officer. The recruitment test, for many applicants, is the most challenging part of what is a very competitive application process.
To get help with your preparation you could easily invest hundreds of dollars working with a tutor, or doing an in-person program through a university. Our South Australia Police Recruitment Test course is different. You’ll have unlimited access to training that has been developed specifically for South Australia applicants, based precisely on the SA TAFE format.
Russell is not a general tutor offering to coach anyone and everyone. His background is in policing and his passion is seeing police applicants succeed. Investing in this course is your secret weapon to not just passing your test, but maximising your score to get your application off to the best possible start!
If you’d like help with 1 stage of your application, the 1 Month or 3 Months prepay option might be the best fit for you. However, if you’re early in your journey and would like help with multiple testing stages, the 6 or 12 month prepay options are significantly discounted.
That’s entirely your choice! You could:
Yep, just select the one-month pricing option, then submit the cancel membership form at least 24 hours before the next payment is due and you’re done.
As a member, you’ll have access to everything, the cost is determined by how long you stay on as a member, not by the courses you access.
We have courses that are specifically tailored on a state by state basis. As a member you’ll get access to all the training courses for all the states/territories, so regardless of which state you are applying for we’ve got you covered!
No. However, you can cancel it at any time.
When you cancel your membership you will continue to have full access until the end of the paid period.
Good question! It really comes down to your application time frame and how much help you’d like. If you’re early in the application process we suggest considering the 6 or 12-month pricing option. If you’re already well into the journey, the one or 3-month pricing option might be more suitable.
We do not offer refunds, so please be sure the program is right for you before making a commitment. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us!
We’ll do everything in our power to help and support you to succeed. The membership is a self-paced program, if you need personalised private coaching with Russ, or you’d like your work to be individually critiqued on a one-off basis, there are paid options available.
Not necessarily. When you’re on the monthly payments, they’re processed every 30 days. The actual date is shown on your previous payment receipt.
In life? Nope, however, Russ has been passionately helping police applicants for more than 17 years. Over 6,000 applicants have come through our program, 90% of them are now police officers. In the unlikely event you take our course and don’t pass that stage of the application, we will give you free access to that course again for 30 days when you reapply.
