Module Tests
1. Shortcuts
The objective is to move the purple marble to the circle containing 3 stars whilst accumulating the lowest score possible.
Press a number on the tracks to move the marbles to the next vacant circle. The numbers represent points and accumulate to give you a final score.
Red marbles may need to be moved to clear a path. Moving the red marbles adds points (indicated by the number on the track) to your score.

Remember the objective is to accumulate the lowest amount of points (score).
2. Grid Lock
The objective is to place the individual pieces, by dragging them, onto the grid in the correct positions to complete the puzzle.
Complete as many puzzles as you can in the allocated time.
3. Resemeble
The objective is to assemble the individual pieces, shown on the right side of the screen, onto the blank grid to match the completed pattern shown on the left side of the screen.
Click the individual pieces, before planing them, to change their orientation.
If a “rotate” instruction is displayed, you must assemble the pieces to represent the completed pattern as it would appear in the rotated position.
4. Numbubbles
The objective of the Numbubbles game is to identify and equation, displayed inside the bubbles, that is equal to the target number shown. Click the bubble to select that equation.
Find as many equal equations as you can in the allocated time.
5. Tally Up
The objective is to tally-up the value of the numbers shown on the left side of the screen and compare the answer to the value of the numbers shown on the right side of the screen.
Click on the side of the screen that has a higher value. Where both sides are of equal value, click the equals ‘=’ symbol.
Pay attention to additional symbols that may affect the value of individual numbers or entire sides.
Answer as many questions as you can in the allocated time.
6. Proof It
The objective is to proofread the text provided in order to identify errors within the text. Errors might be spelling or grammar related or simply a word that does not belong. Click on the text or error to make your selection.
The number of errors in any given article is displayed in the bottom panel. This number will reduce as errors are identified correctly. Clicking on a text that is not an error will result in a ‘strike’. Accumulating three strikes will end the round.

This document explains how the Cognfiy Mini Games Test results are interpreted. Unlike a traditional test where applicants may need to achieve 28 out of 30 corrects answers to pass, Cognify provides data that gives insight to applicant’s suitability for specific positions and roles to companies make better informed hiring decisions.

This Cognify sample question is from our Resemble mini-game test. The Resemble test contains 9 questions which must be completed within 180 seconds. This means you could allocate an average of 20 seconds per question.
In the sample question below we’ve allowed 60 seconds, which is three times the average. You’re welcome to take the practice question as many times as you like.

Our Cognify prep course is made up of 3 sections. The first is a series of video lessons to demonstrate the Cognify tests from inside the official Cognify application used by ‘Criteria’, the official testers for recruiting agencies around Australia.
In the second part we’ll share our tips and strategies tutorial video lessons. This is where you’ll learn how to approach each test. We share tips and strategies to help you get the best score from each mini game. This is just as important, if not more, than simply doing a heap of practice tests. You need a clear strategy for each game before the clock starts ticking!
The third part of the prep course is the practice mini games. Here you’ll have access to all 6 games via our custom Cognify mini games app so you can practise the tips and strategies you learn in section two! The questions are selected randomly from our database so you’ll get plenty of variety and unlimited practice tests to fine tune your preparation.
